Dr. M. Bheemanna is a Professor of Entomology and Head of Pesticide Residue and Food Quality Analysis laboratory at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur. He has more than 28 years of experience in the field of Agriculture Entomology and has worked on the pest management of cotton, chilli and other vegetable crops. He has guided 3 Ph.D. and 10 M.Sc. students in the discipline of Agricultural Entomology. He has published 60 research articles in different reputed journals. Besides, he has handled several adhoc projects sponsored by ICAR, RKVY and other private organizations on insect pests, their dynamics and management through different means.
